Supervisor Principi and Comite Hispano prepare for Youth Fest

Comite Hispano de Prince William conceived of Youth Fest to meet a challenge: How could more families connect with available resources for middle and high school students? Particularly recently immigrated families, where language barriers can stand in the way of parents learning important information.

Working together, we have secured speakers that can help youth take actionable steps towards achieving their goals. Comite members have also done tremendous outreach in the Latinx community. Whether a child is college bound, seeks skills training or simply wants a new hobby, Youth Fest can help. Parents will also find resources and gain a better idea of how they can support their children’s future success.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” At Youth Fest, teens will find dozens of nonprofits, school programs, businesses and county agencies ready to help them create a rewarding future. Starting today.
