According to a new set of rankings released by, Woodbridge, a suburb of the nation’s capital, is the 84th-best place to live in the Commonwealth.

Here’s what one resident had to say, according to the website: “. . .I’ve recently moved here and admire the metro life with the benefit of a slower lifestyle. With places like Potomac Town Center (Stonebridge) and Potomac Mills shopping mall, there is no reason to travel outside of the city to find something to do, including a diverse array of menu choices from their many different restaurants.” See the site’s methodology.

    Biggest hole in Woodbridge social scene (from our experience) is that we have to travel ten or fifteen miles north or to Manassas to find any interesting entertainment. Not talking about special programs at GM Manassas campus. There just isn’t any regular place to go for musical entertainment in Woodbridge.
