As part of its six-year improvement program, the Virginia Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) voted to approve a $38M grant to construct a 1,400 space parking garage at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, and the widening of Neabsco Mills Road to four lanes (Smoke Court to Route 1). The road improvement will include a sidewalk and trail, and will reduce traffic congestion near the proposed Potomac Nationalbaseball stadium. The garage will serve as free commuter parking for slugs, carpools and vanpools during the day. On game nights, baseball fans will pay a fee for parking. These fees will pay for the operations and maintenance of the garage, which will be built on land given to Prince William County by JBG Companies, the owner of Potomac Town Center.

This is sickening. When will they begin building the Metro station in Woodbridge? That would do wonders to ameliorate traffic!
