Place-making: JBG has big plans for Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, Virginia, revealing plans for significant new investment. At the May 9th board of supervisors meeting, senior company officials shared a broader vision for the complex and discussed concrete expansion plans. According to Tom Sebastian, JBG senior vice president, the company has reached an agreement with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema for an eight-theater movie complex, to be built along with a new central green. This “town square” will become an ice skating rink in the winter and an outdoor events space in the summer. In addition to the new movie theaters, several new restaurants will surround the town square. “You’ll be able to spend the entire evening walking around and enjoying the environment,” Sebastian said.
