In Virginia, democracy does not take a year off. Elections are held annually, with various offices coming up for re-election depending on the year. In so-called “off years,” voters are tasked with choosing  the state and local leaders who determine funding and policies for our schools, public safety, transportation, human services and other essential services that affect our daily lives. Voting local is an important way to shape the future of your community. Take a moment to view key dates and information for voting this year, and to review the two proposed constitutional amendments (click here). See you at the polls!
