Prince William County Taxpayer Services will open a bit later on Wednesdays, March 6 through August 28, giving staff time to attend valuable training that will enhance the customer experience for taxpayers. The counters at the McCoart Government Center, Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building and Sudley North Building, as well as the call center, will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those Wednesdays. All other days services will be available 8 am to 5pm.
“These employees are on the front line helping customers every day. We want to make sure we provide them the necessary training that allows them to best serve the residents of Prince William County,” said Michelle Attreed, the county’s director of finance. “We are committed to providing seamless and high-quality customer service, integrated with the use of technology, and this will allow us the opportunity to provide our employees with the necessary tools to do that.”
Training will include sessions on customer service and technology improvement. The offices and call centers will return to normal hours beginning August 29. Residents may also visit the online Taxpayer Portal at tax.pwcgov.org
where information, tools and resources are available to manage and pay taxes 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
