Citizen engagement is a crucial element of the revitalization taking place in New Woodbridge. Even with the more than $1 billion in public and private investment transforming the Route 1 corridor, we rely on community members to alert us to concerns that detract from our progress.
Recently several residents contacted Supervisor Principi about the return of illegally parked tractor trailers along Routes 1 and 123. The Supervisor contacted law enforcement officers, who quickly issued 24-hour removal notices. The trucks were gone by the next day. Squads in the area said that they will keep an eye out for further illegal truck parking.
While the Supervisor’s office makes neighborhood inspections a priority, we can be much more proactive when community members let us know when something is amiss in their neighborhoods. If you see possible violations of parking ordinances and other community standards, please call 703-792-4646 or email email@example.com. Together, we can continue enhancing New Woodbridge!
