Dance Performances, Music, & Food Festival Set For June 21
Today, the Woodbridge Potomac Communities Civic Association and Prince William County Supervisor Frank J. Principi announced the 3rd Annual International Cultural Festival will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 21 at the Dr. AJ Ferlazzo Government Center Atrium in Woodbridge, Virginia. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature dance performances, live music, and food tastings beginning at 7:00pm. The festival will bring together performance groups dancing in their native dress, live music, and international food tastings. The event will occur in the Atrium of the Dr. AJ Ferlazzo Government Center at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge (near Route 1 and Cardinal Drive).
“The festival is an opportunity for all Prince William County residents to gain a better understanding of the diversity of our community and build new friendships,” said Supervisor Frank Principi. “Prince William is the only majority-minority County in Virginia and the demographics are rapidly changing…we need more opportunities to get to know our neighbors,” he added. “The annual event is in its third year and each one gets better and better,” said Myrna Yungburg, President, Woodbridge Potomac Communities Civic Association. “The festival brings the community together!” she added.
